Game Guide

Our Game’s title is “Save the Spice”, with our team consisting :
– Mikhael Angeloputra S.
– Patrick Alvin Nigo
-Nicholas Audley S.

Boss fight.

How to play the game is you use your mouse(leftclick to shoot) and keyboard( A to go left, D to go right and space to jump). So, when the game starts the menu screen has 4 options (Play, help, mute sfx, about), when the user starts the game the player spawns in a wide area and there’s some intructions when the user goes inside the game. There’s a tutorial level and instructions on how to shoot/kill the enemy and proceed onto the game. After the user reach the boss level the user needs to kill the boss, after killing the boss(winning the game), the screen shows your score after beating the game(point system).

Controls

The member’s contribution:
-Patrick, mainly contributed to the art direction and creating the custom sprites
-Mikhael(me) is the level designer for our project and beta tester
-Nicholas is the one who programs the game and coding it with Construct 2

The items that I created is the level design, how the items are placed, how the level looks like, what’s inside the game, and what’s supposed to be inside the level and etc.

I contributed on the sketch level design and anything that is related to making the layout of the game’s level design. I also did the beta testing of the game and telling what needs to be fixed and what needs to be added to the game.

The only thing we didn’t make ourselves is the sound effects

Contruct2 Project Proposal

Our plan for the game is to make a platform shooter game that involves history of Indonesia’s Independence where the character / protagonist that we play is gonna go through the sequence on how Indonesia got their independence.

The layout of the game is that the player starts from level 1 which is when all the history happened, and the player is gonna go through the history and progress by defeating each level (each level has their own obstacles, NPC’s, enemy that are based on the actual thing) and eventually winning the whole game. The members for our team is:
